Specialist Certificate in Youth Mental Health Promotion

Connecting Men with Mind Fitness Seminar

To celebrate Men’s Health Week 2023, WHSCT Health Improvement Equality and Involvement, Men’s Health Forum In Ireland and Men’s Action Network are delighted to invite you to a free half day event focusing on men’s mental wellbeing.  This event will also showcase a range of projects that support men and boys across the Western Trust area, and is aimed at practitioners who work with men of all ages.

It will take place on Tuesday 13th June 2023 (starting with registration at 9.30am and finishing with lunch at 1.30pm) and will be held in the Magee Campus of Ulster University in Derry / Londonderry.

Photography Walk for Men in Belfast

Men and Mental Health Webinar

You are invited to apply for a free place at a webinar exploring men and mental health.  Guest speakers will include: David Gillick (former Irish international athlete and mental health advocate), Mark Smith (Clinical Psychologist) and Keith Kelly ('Jumpers for Goalposts').  This will be followed by a discussion with workers who support the mental health of men.

Farmers’ Health and Wellbeing: A Guide to Staying Healthy while Farming

Health Survey (NI): First Results 2021/22

Health Survey Northern Ireland is a Department of Health research initiative that runs every year on a continuous basis.  The survey covers a range of health topics that are important to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.  It has been running since April 2010, with separate modules for different policy areas included in different financial years.  In November 2022, the Department released 'Health Survey (NI): First Results 2021/22'.  Copies of the report, and the technical notes, can be found online at: https://www.health-ni.gov.uk/publications/health-survey-northern-ireland-first-results-202122
